Angela and Niko came to Yosemite National Park for their wedding photography. Niko had been many times before, but this was going to be Angela’s first time. What an exciting way to see Yosemite for your first time. Especially the beauty and grandeur of Taft Point!
We had a beautiful sunset session at Taft Point. And then we finished with astro photography under the stars at Glacier Point. This flow from Taft Point for sunset to stars at Glacier Point is one of my favorite photography flows.
Photographing under the stars is such a memorable experience. There’s something about slowing down (you have to stand still for the photos), and appreciating the quietness of nature. You can really take some time for yourself and be in the moment. I live for these experiences.
If you’re looking for your Yosemite intimate wedding photographer, or you’re wanting to come have an Adventure Elopement, please reach out through my Contact Page. I look forward to hearing from you.
Being under the Milky Way in Yosemite is an unforgettable experience. Especially in Yosemite’s high country like Glacier Point here. The areas off of the Tioga road near Tuolumne Meadows are also amazing for astro photography.
Taft Point at sunset is of course one of a kind. But Tuolumne Meadows is an amazing alternative while the Glacier Point road is closed for construction in 2022.
Yosemite National Park is just incredible for astro photography. Adventure elopement photography under the stars can be the experience of a lifetime.
