"Shawn and Brittany were amazing to work with for our mountain elopement. Leading up to the day, they were easy to communicate and plan with and had amazing ideas for how to document the day. We had an overnight backpacking trip for our wedding so they went above and beyond to plan the logistics of the trip and get all the photos that we wanted. During our day, Shawn and Brittany approached our day with so much mindfulness with every detail. We talked through where the lighting from the moon would be, where sunrise would give us the best views for our morning vows, what specific spots were important to us, etc. For anyone who feels a little awkward being photographed, Shawn was the best hype man and did an amazing job taking pictures that felt natural and didn't make us feel posed. Hi! We're shawn & Brittany. True YOsemite & Eastern Sierra Locals.
We’re Shawn Reeder and Brittany Colt, a real-life couple and creative team who met and fell in love in Yosemite. These mountains shaped our lives, our art, and the way we see love. We now spend our days photographing couples in the same wild, beautiful places that brought us together. With us you get:

Our love story began in Yosemite, a place that continues to inspire and shape our lives. We lived in Yosemite for over 15 combined years. We didn’t just visit Yosemite, we called it home. We know how the light moves, where the crowds disappear, and when the park is at its most beautiful.
Living and breathing the Sierra lifestyle, we’ve spent years exploring its beauty, from the towering peaks of the Eastern Sierra to the expansive "planet granite" of Yosemite.
