Sara & Owen love to move in the mountains. So when they asked if I’d like to be a part of their adventure elopement in the Yosemite high country, I was psyched! I suggested the Tuolumne Meadows backcountry would be perfect. A little lake I know in an off the beaten path location surrounded by domes, and they were thrilled. After living in Tuolumne Meadows for over a decade in my 20’s, that area of the park is the most special to me. With its high country lakes, granite domes, magical forest, and craggy peaks, it’s an absolute playground for adventure elopements. So please be in touch for more information if you’re wanting to elope or have an adventure session in Yosemite’s pristine high country!
I love working with couples in love and am so grateful to capture these magical moments for you, especially in and around Tuolumne! If you’re looking for your Yosemite, Eastern Sierra, or anywhere in the world wedding or adventure elopement photographer, please be in touch!
It was a beautiful hike into Yosemite’s back country, aka… Planet Granite.
There may have also been a little bit of scrambling involved.
Clients often ask, “what’s it like to get ready in the outdoors”? And I tell them, it’s the most beautiful location you could imagine.
I love when people really want to ground with the earth and have their ceremony barefoot.
As the afternoon gave way to evening light, we summited the closest dome for incredible views.
