Is Yosemite The Ultimate Overseas Wedding Destination?

Jishna & Clarence came to Yosemite National Park from Singapore for their wedding photography. What an exciting way to see Yosemite for their first time. Especially the beauty and grandeur of Yosemite Valley in spring!

We had a beautiful evening session in El Cap Meadow and then went to Rostrum View for sunset. And then we finished with astro photography under the stars with a view towards Yosemite Falls. This flow from evening and sunset to stars is one of my favorite photography flows.

Photographing under the stars is such a memorable experience. There’s something about slowing down (you have to stand still for the photos), and appreciating the quietness of nature. You can really take some time for yourself  and be in the moment. I live for these experiences.

I just love the beautiful reflective light of blue hour with its soft pastel colors.

 

I love shooting under the stars with my couples. We had a good amount of moonlight which illuminates Jishna and Clarence almost as if it was day light or I used a flash.

 

I always love when we get to incorporate the moon, especially when it’s low enough in the sky to include with my couple.
